Camping
I haven't posted a blog post in a while so I have a lot of catch up. We went camping the first weekend in March. I didn't take nearly enough pictures. We had so much fun and so did all the many kids that came. Caleb was the official fire master and here is a picture of his masterpiece of the one and only pecan wood.
Addy and Tayla having a ball throwing leaves in their hair. We couldn't get them to look at us for a picture no matter how hard we tried they were having too much fun.
Caprisun the sponsored drink of the weekend.
Aww so cute.
Even the babes did so good. We were so glad so many people came and had fun. My only regret is not taking more pictures.

My little Neanderthal
I am definitely dealing with the terrible twos. So I want to tell all of the kids Addy has hit in the past couple of months that we are sorry. It has even gone as far as having to switch gyms because of her suspension. This whole time I have not really known what to do about it or how to help her control it. I came across this website and it made me feel better as to perhaps why she is hitting and gave some funny solutions. So if anyone else is going through the same thing, I hope this helps. Now I need to get the book Happiest Toddler on the Block.

Flying
We took a trip down to Gavleston for dinner. Gabe is a flight instructor and he even let Caleb fly for part of the way. We had so much fun looking out over the city from up above.
This is the first plane Caleb flew. I think his new life long dream is to own one for himself.

The Houston Temple from approaximately 2000 ft up.
The Toyota Center. Who knew they had a giant sign on top.
Gabe had to clear flight patters and what not with the air traffic controller due to the two airports major airports and other flyers out there. It was so fun to hear all the jargon. At first it was like hearing a totally different language.
Here we are with Jen and Gabe eating yummy seafood.
P.S. I am also in the middle of potty training so that is one of the reasons I haven't posted in a while.
Just before take off.
If you look close you can see the sky scrapers from down town. My camera kinda struggled. This really looks nothing like it, but it was awsome.

Pictures FINALLY
These are our holiday pictures. Caleb is out of town this weekend so I decided to give it a whirl and upload some photos.
Addy insisted on pulling her own suitcase through the airport. Isn't it adorable?
This is my sweet nephew Nate. He is a huge Jazz fan and made his gingerbread house into a Utah Jazz basketball court.
Here we are at his school Christmas program
We saw the Aggies beat the Utes in the last few seconds!
More snow fun.
Here's Addy with our horses. She wasn't scared at all.
We had the horses pull us in the sled.
We had so much fun in Utah and miss it already.

Ryan, Caleb's brother, decided to get married on the coldest day in the history of the earth, but we still had a blast. Their wedding was gorgeous and so much fun. We are so happy for them!
