Texas Blue Bonnets

These pictures are from last year. I took her to a random field out by Brenham. She wasn't in the best mood. And these are the best pictures I got. They are pretty funny. It is fun to see how much she has changed in a year.

This is her glaring at me as I do something silly to try and get her to smile. I can see her thinking "what are you doing mom...that is not even cool." This year we had them professionally done by Kelsey (Kelseycallphotography.com) Addy LOVES to pose for Kelsey. I don't think it is fair and I don't know how she does it, but that is what Kelsey is good at. We had so much fun and they turned out so cute. I am so excited to blow some of them up big.

I think this one might be my favorite. Addy did anything Kelsey asked her to even lay down in the middle of the field.

Addy and Kade. Kade had a session right after Addy so they had a few together.

This one reminds me of those posters you used to see of the little kids. I don't remember what they are called. But I love it. Kade is such a cutie.

I am showing you this video because I did Addy's hair so cute for the pictures. This is her dancing just before we left. It was a 10 minute drive to Kingwood and she got out of the car and her hair was completely straight. I hairsprayed and everything. I don't know what went wrong.

Would you like to eat my shirt?

I don't really love petting zoo's but Addy sure does. At the rodeo we were in the petting zoo and Addy saw a deer trying to eat the shirt of a little girl. She thought it was so funny the rest of the time she went to every animal to see if they would eat her shirt. Can you just see her asking him to eat her shirt.

Keep Scrolling

I just posted 5 new posts. Sorry it has been so long, just keep scrolling.

Rodeo Season in Houston

Every year we have gone to the Houston Rodeo. So this year we bought a half season pass. We sold the Jonas Brothers tickets (which were sold out) and made up almost half of what we paid for all nine concerts. Addy loves seeing every thing there is, but this year has been special because she can go on the rides. There is a man made grass hill all the kids love to roll down, we don't have any hills around here so it is a big hit.
Addy loved this pig oinking at her she would laugh so hard every time s/he made a sound. One of the pigs is about to give birth so hopefully we will be able to see the piglets sometime next week.

She was kinda scare of the baby chicks...go figure. She loves this dragon roller coaster I think it is her favorite.

On our way to the rodeo without Addy for a night.

After the rodeo they do fire works and then have a concert.

Here is Alan Jackson. I was surprised I knew most of the songs he sang.
Trace Adkins, very country. Still entertaining. When he was leaving he took off his hat and let his long hair flow from the wind of the ford truck.
Toby Keith...I think he has been my favorite. Caleb and I saw him when we were first married in the Delta Center. We had awful seats and the acoustics in the Delta center are terrible. We could barely hear anything. We snuck down to the second row and he sang right to me the whole night. We did end up getting kicked out, but not until the last song. Brad Paisley I never knew he was a guitar player. He brought 16 different guitars on stage and used quite a few of them during the concert. Caleb wouldn't let me talk during the concert. We had a good time.

I'll probably do another rodeo post after next week.

Addy and her friends

For some reason lately Addy's friends are so important to her. She loves them and has started to pray for them at night. It is so cute and so much fun. She cries really hard when she has to say bye.

GO ROCKETS!

Our first game of the season. Hopefully not the last.
I think these guys are all tall enough and make enough money to have seats made to fit, right? It looks like they are all sitting on the nursery chairs at church.

We had way good seats on the third row. I was kinda star struck by how gianormous the players were. I knew they were tall, but to see it was really cool. It was like they were a completely different species.

Camping

I haven't posted a blog post in a while so I have a lot of catch up. We went camping the first weekend in March. I didn't take nearly enough pictures. We had so much fun and so did all the many kids that came. Caleb was the official fire master and here is a picture of his masterpiece of the one and only pecan wood. Addy and Tayla having a ball throwing leaves in their hair. We couldn't get them to look at us for a picture no matter how hard we tried they were having too much fun.

Caprisun the sponsored drink of the weekend.
Aww so cute.
Even the babes did so good. We were so glad so many people came and had fun. My only regret is not taking more pictures.
